The DMR Settings Tab is where you would set parameters related to Digital DMR Channels, such as manual dial, GPS, DTMF and Remote Commands.

Manual Dial

Private Call Hang Time
  • Delay before the radio will return to the pre-programmed contact on the currently selected channel.
  • Selectable from 0ms to 7000ms
Group Call Hang Time
  • Delay before the radio will return to the pre-programmed contact on the currently selected channel.
  • Selectable from 0ms to 7000ms, newer firmware has added the options for 30 seconds and 60 seconds.


GPS (depreciated, use APRS settings for more control)

GPS On/Off
  • Off: Disable GPS by default. Can be manually enabled in the radio settings.
  • On: Enable GPS by default. GPS will be enabled on radio start up, can be manually disabled in the radio settings.
GPS Interval
  • GPS (APRS) transmit interval: Selectable from 10 to 60 seconds, then 1 minute to 255 minutes.
GPS Channel
  • Selected channel to transmit on using GPS (APRS).


DTMF

DTMF Code
  • DTMF code to be sent when pressing PTT.
  • 11 character code, limited to characters - 0-9, A, B, C, D, *, #
DTMF On/Off
  • On: Enable DTMF to be sent when pressing PTT.
  • Off: Disable DTMF.
DTMF Volume
  • Off: Disable the DTMF through the radio speaker.
  • 1-12: Volume of DTMF through the radio speaker.
DTMF Duration
  • Set the duration of each DTMF code sent.
DTMF Interval
  • Set the time interval between the end of each DTMF code and the next.
Import Delay
  • Set the time duration from the PTT pressed to the first DTMF code sent.


Remote (Digital Channels Only)

Remote Monitor Duration
  • 10-120 seconds: Set how long the radio will keep the microphone and transmitter on after it receives the remote monitor order from another radio.
Remote Monitor Decode
  • Off: Radio will not respond to Remote Monitor requests from other radios.
  • On: Radio will respond to Remote Monitor requests and transmit the audio from the microphone for the Remote Monitor Duration (above).
Radio Detection Decode
  • Off: Radio will not respond to Radio Detection requests from other radios.
  • On: Radio will respond to Radio Detection requests.
Radio Revive Decode
  • Off: Radio will not respond to Radio Revive requests from other radios.
  • On: Radio will respond to Radio Revive requests.
Radio Kill Decode (WARNING: Enabling this feature could allow other radios to completely disable your radio!!)
  • Off: Radio will not respond to Radio Kill requests from other radios.
  • On: Radio will respond to Radio Kill requests.
Call Alert
  • Off: Radio will not respond to Call Alert requests from other radios.
  • On: Radio will respond to Call Alert requests.


Mandown (DR-880UV Only - Not Applicable to the CDR300-UV, RT73, DB25-D)

Mandown On/Off
  • Off: Disable the Mandown feature.
  • On: Enable the Mandown feature.
Mandown Interval
  • Interval to send out the Mandown alarm before the radio exits the Mandown state.
Mandown Angle
  • 1 to 90 degrees: Angle at which to trigger the Mandown alarm.
Mandown Duration
  • Set the length of time for the radio device to send a Mandown alarm in the analog channel.
