The Radio Settings Tab is where you would set the function of each of the buttons on the radio and speaker-microphone, each has a short and long press function.
Controlling The Radio From The Microphone Buttons
To be able to control the radio from the microphone you can set a button for MENU and BACK.
This will allow you to enter the menu to change various settings as well as selecting zones or contacts, without having to touch the radio.
In recent firmware updates it is no longer required to set a button for UP and DOWN (as shown above) as the buttons on the microphone labelled DWN and UP will now work as the up and down buttons.
The MENU button is also used as the SELECT button to enter sub-menus, select items and confirm changes.
