Driver issues with windows 11
Every time I try to read or write to my GD-88 (or attempt to update the firmware) I get the following error. Can anyone help? I have downloaded and installed the drivers from the radioddity website and they appear to be functioning normally. I am using the cable that was sent with the radio.

Does the official CPS work with this cable?

Which link did you download the drivers from?
The CH330 is not a commonly used chip with the programming cables but I guess maybe they started using them since the Prolific PL2303TA doesn't work with Windows 11 without manually installing older unsupported drivers.
