Running the GD-88 with newest firmware and newest CPEditor. I setup a RX group for each channel so I could hear incoming signals. Not hearing anything thru my hotspot. So I turned on promiscuous mode and still hearing nothing. Very occasionally I hear a signal, if I listen long enough on WW or USA. The hotspot works on Parrot so I don't think there is a problem there. And if I call and ask for a radio check I get a good report.
But quite often the radio beeps, 4 short beeps.
When I hear the beeps I thought maybe it was an indication that there was activity on a channel that I was not tuned to so I quickly run through the 8-10 channels I have programmed but hear nothing. With promiscuous mode turned on I thought I would any signal on any of the channels I have programmed thru the hotspot.
It would be more fun if the beeps were playing an old Three Dog Night tune. So anyone know what the occasional 4 beeps are for?
