I performed a factory reset on the radio and then was able to read from the radio. Finally, I made some changes to the codeplug editor and was able to make some changes.

I don't see where I can import the Ham contacts I downloaded previously from Radioid.net. I tried the import option from the menu, but it told me that the format of the file was incorrect.

I was getting the same error message. Need to try the factory reset if it helped.

Resetting to factory defaults didn't help. Still getting the error on Windows 11.

Code: Select all

Read Failed.
Unable to find key ['Bitmask', 4989, 3, {0: 'CO', 1: 'TO', 2: 'SE'}] for val 0x3 - codeplug likely corrupted

I have that error, too.

I bought my device through Amazon. Some things were already configured on the device. For example, some DMR repeaters from Germany. Even after a factory reset, these configurations are still there.

I bought mine directly from radioddity.com but it also has "not clean" code plug in it. Looks like a return device to me.

Hi!

Same Problem here. My "new" Device looks like a return device too. Bought it from Amazon. And i cant read it with CPE. same error message as described above. I also cant read it with the original CPE from radioddity. No Communications. I will try to reset the device.

Okey, reset the device, error still there. What FIrmware has to be installed on the device? Thanks.

Okey, device now working with Original CPE. Alternative CPE still shows Error.
Any Solutions? The original CPE is... exhausting. Thanks.

I was able to resolve the issue by re-flashing my radio with the firmware from the Radioddity support page.
I downloaded the "2022-03-11 CPS 3.3 - FW 2021-12-11 - CPEditor.rar" archive and used the firmware file version dated "Dec 11 2021"
