Using editor in 32bit Win7

Post by oh3mbc »

Should it be possible to use this editor in 32bit Windows 7?

For me it throws some errors when trying to download.

The editor is build for x86/x64 so should work on 32bit, however I don't have a 32bit OS to test it.

I think the issue may be the compiled python script, as it's built using a x64 install of python I believe it will create a x64 exe, which of course will not run on a 32bit OS.

A workaround would be to install python and run the script itself to download from the radio and then use the editor on the json file it creates.
I will try to compile a 32bit version of the script and include that in the editor for the next update, which should then work for 32 and 64 bit :)

Did you ever get the editor to work on 32bit? I have a 32bit windows 7. I got a copy that worked on the machine and has been ok until you stopped having the logon update option! Now I only get an "incompatible" error. IS there any way you could start having the UPDATE popup screen at time of logon??? Just wondering if thats feasible?
