Using the Kydera 3000uv and using latest Firmware 0.2.1103.2 and find that sometime when sending to radio it loses the contact list. Everything else is there, just not contacts.
I have downloaded from radio and read straight back, and it still loses contacts. Something I am doing wrong?
Not taking contact list over
Re: Not taking contact list over
Do you get an error-like message on the radio after uploading the codeplug?
"!LM_App_Sort"
I have noticed the same on my Kydera CDR300.. I'm not sure what causes it because the same codeplug works on my DB25-D every time without any issues.
Yet the Kydera just won't work anymore, unless there is very few contacts. I thought it may be my radio acting up, since I have written to it probably a few hundred times while testing the editor etc.
However if the same is happening to yours, I'm wondering if something has changed within the firmware that doesn't play nicely with the Kydera radio. I doubt there are any hardware changes between the Kydera branded radio and a Retevis/Radioddity radio. Although not impossible since I have one of the first production runs on the CDR300 so there may have been updates to hardware.
I can get the radio to accept the contacts, but it only works with a modified codeplug binary uploaded directly to the radio, however this breaks a lot of settings and information on the radio so it's not an ideal fix.. but I know I can get it to accept the contacts, I just need to work out why it loses them when uploading a codeplug normally.
The Official CPS has the same issue, so it's not limited to CPEditor.. Has to be a firmware or hardware issue.
I have contacted Kydera but yet to receive a response.

Yes thats the same as display that I get. Might have to remove some contacts and try again. I don't really want to as its ok at moment.
Re: Not taking contact list over
Tend to find it don't like duplicate contacts.
