Can't read from GD-88

I keep getting this error message when trying to read from my radio GD-88
"index was outside the bounds of the array"
any thoughts anyone?

Well i can now read from the radio, but when I try to write to it i get a input string not in correct format error message? anyone have any ideas on how to correct?

I'm getting the same message. How did you get past it? Were you able to get it to write to the radio?

See my thread from a few days ago, I have seen this error message on nearly all interactions with CE and my CDR-300

I have also seen your other data format error.

Not sure why, I am waiting for David to suggest more ideas on how to diagnose the problem.
