Read From Radio Failed

Post by GrantF »

I downloaded the lastest version, installed it and tried to read from the radio. It sees the correct com port. It reads from the GD-88, I can see it reading. It goes through all 56 steps and then errors out with the following:

Read Failed.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File 'cperadiotools.py', line 1596, in <module>
File 'cperadiotools.py', line 64 in decompileCodeplug
File 'cperadiotools.py', line 174, in fromBytes
IndexError: bytarray index out of range
[3728] Failed to execute script 'cperadiotools' due to unhandled exception

Running Windows 11. I have used the Radioddity CPS to program the code plug, so there are changes there separate from the default. Let me know what other information you need.

Yeah it's a known issue with the latest firmware, there was a change that broke the functions.
Currently on holiday since I released the last version so I will fix the issue and send out an update when I get back home :)

Hey! Looks like that was fixed. Raddiodity sent me the latest copy to try out. Looks amazing now that I got it to read the radio. Off to play with it some more.
