Hi David.
Just downloaded the latest version 0.1.0613.4 and tried every option without issues. Updated the firmware, downloaded and installed the latest RadioID contacts list, added my callsign to the startup page and reloaded my codeplug. All is working fine . Great job !!

Re: 300,000 Contacts
Is the Kydera firmware publicly available yet? I went looking for it without success.

300,000 Contacts
Hi Dave.

Ian
Which firmware did you use for this. Was it the Retevis March 29 version or do you have a new version you're testing?I have tested 300,000 contacts and I can confirm that the radio does support it and seems to work ok, so no worries when we get over 200k

Incremental update number
Hi Dave Excellent work on the editor which works very well. I noticed you’ve mentioned a couple of changes to the editor recently in response to bug reports but there’s been no update to the release list. Without following the posts I wouldn’t have been aware of the changes. Are you able to include ...

Re: Writing a new codeplug to the radio
I'm planning to update any older firmwares to the latest version prior to installing the codeplug so hopefully that should alleviate any firmware version issues.

Re: Writing a new codeplug to the radio
I answered my own question. I decided to read from a second radio I have here and noted the Radio Info data. I then opened my codeplug file. The Radio Info didn't change and still displayed the hardware details from the 'read' radio so I wrote the new codeplug back to the radio and all is OK. Brilli...

Firmware Update
I wasn't able to do a firmware update. I got an instant message saying the update was complete (no processing time) but the firmware wasnt updated. I used the usual setup method on the radio (hold P1 while switching on). The firmware file was 'Retevis_RT73_FW 20210329.bin'

Writing a new codeplug to the radio
Hi David With regard to the information displayed (greyed out) on the Radio Info tab, does this data get written back to the radio when you upload a codeplug, or is it simply being displayed from the previous download? I believe the Python script this is based on wrote the entire JSON file back to t...
