It appears that after my troubles I was sent this new firmware dated FEB 2024 as I had the August 2023 shipped with the radio.
Have not had the time to fully test.
It ends in .006 while the old 2023 .007. Confused with the numbers, I would have expected going to .008 away from Mr Bond.

Re: Working perfectly
My biggest appreciation for all your incredible efforts and work put together for this software. All works well, but yes, Kydera/Rdioddity have some polishing to do, but also their info on how things work are a bit lost. I am a Cisco Academy trainer, among other things, but software. In either case ...

Re: CPE Device Info not transfering from factory rest
By the way, If I use your CPE and then attempt to use the CPE from Radioddity, it corrupts data. I ended with the Hotspot channel as RX only despite the channel setting did not say so.
Had to clean all and start all over again.

Re: CPE Device Info not transfering from factory rest
Thanks ! Understand. I used to sell Motorola DMR till a year ago and have some knowledge but then it is a different product. Any tests I do will share with all of you. I discovered something strange yesterday, and I run out of swearing words in the 3 languages I can handle :D By default every time y...

Re: CPE Device Info not transfering from factory rest
To do this, double-click on the label for each parameter, this will enable the text box for editing. Change the value to whatever you want and then press the enter key to store it. Then when the codeplug is written to the radio, these parameters will be updated. Have a big drama in FM Analogue. It ...

Re: DB40-D Factory number and serial number
Answer below from Radiddity QUOTE Hello Richard, I just got a response from our technical team. We have confirmed that it is indeed possible to accidentally delete characters when accessing the ID or callsign via the radio menu. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Currently,...

Re: DB40-D Factory number and serial number
Thanks ! To me is totally strange and weird. Doe not make sense, if there was an edit function in the first place, then I would understand it as it would imply you can change a mistake you might have done with the CPE when programming and you did not notice at that time. In the end it leaves it open...

DB40-D Factory number and serial number
This new radio I got 3 days ago, either when using the CPE Editor by David MM7DBT or the CPE 3.3 that is the actual Radioddity software, neither will show the serial or factory number. Both fields are blank. No idea why, but that is what it is. NOTE: when using the radio buttors ( I have not changed...
