Can you point me to how to do this as a new user?
I do not want to spoil my codeplug so far. I have been working without Digital IDs.
Thank you.

Re: New TalkGroup on the fly
Your hints lead me to a solution, which is indeed workable: I have pre-programmed one or more "1-Blank" "2-Blank" etc. contacts at the end of the Contact list, with the next contact number in your Contact List, such as 212, 213, 214, etc. I also make this same Contact a Rx Group....

Re: New TalkGroup on the fly
In short; You can't. However.. it is possible but not as easy as you might think, especially while driving or for quick on-the-fly changes! Since you cannot ADD NEW channels to the radio, from the radio. You can update existing ones. So first, you would need a "blank" channel or one that ...

Ok, I am home late and tired, but appreciate your ideas. I will sleep on these and then study them and get back to you. Thank you.

Re: New TalkGroup on the fly
I have also sent this question to Radioddity Technical Support and so far they have not understood the question properly, so I still await an answer (24 hours turnaround time for each email reply). It's quite simple. I am driving with the DB25-D and the others in a conversation want to switch to a T...

New TalkGroup on the fly
Is there a way to pre-program a "blank" or other suitable substitute Contact?
There are times I become aware of a TalkGroup that I would like to listen and talk on. Must I use CPEditor to add this TG and write to Radio, or can I use the keypad to add it ad hoc?

Re: attempting to download 0.3.1231
So far no issues relating to virtualization: Windows 11 (ARM) on Parallels on an M1 Mac mini; terrific program. Slowly but surely exporting/importing my comprehensive codeplug from my RD-5R to CPEditor! Thank you! Hotspot replacement microSD arrives in about a week and I learn about programming hots...

Re: attempting to download 0.3.1231
So today, I tried the Check for Updates, under the Help Menu and the upgrade to 0.3.1231.1 was successful.
I have been using the Import/Export feature successfully to bring my codeplug from my Radioddity RD-5R over, slowly but surely!
Thank you for this wonderful Editor.

Re: RX Groups
I'm just starting out with the DB25 and have basic DMR experience. Your program is excellent and I thank you very much for taking the time and effort because the manufacturer program was terrible. Now that I'm using your program I've managed to get a code plug into the radio and use the radio. I'm ...

Can I import my Radioddity RD-5R codeplug
Since the Search function keeps refusing to search "import rd-5r codeplug" as too common, I'll ask here, for my DM-25D. Thank you.
